Description
The Northern Neck of Virginia is a cyclists dream. Bounded by the Potomac River and the Rappahannock River, this scenic peninsula boasts miles and miles of quiet country roads, historic estates, two state parks, national wildlife refuges, and award-winning vineyards along the Chesapeake Bay Wine Trail. One of these vineyards, Belle Mount, will be your home for this tour. You can chose to stay in one of the five cabins, camp at Heritage Park on the grounds of the vineyard, or stay at the nearby Best Western. Routes explore the Rappahannock River area one day; the next day explores farmland leading to the Potomac River.
